Met with Pat the external moderator and course quality control person. It took three agonising hours but she is a very nice and helpful woman and we got there in the end. Of course these meetings always end with us having more things to do.
Work has suddenly stepped up a gear just like we knew it would and we are all frantically busy with diaries booked weeks ahead now and we've not even touched Karen's work yet. It seems a shame that we are all really busy with referrals coming in steadily and yet we are in such danger of collapsing due to lack of funding. Who knows what we'll be doing this time next year.
Christine and I visited a lovely school up in Halstead where we've picked up a class referral for my 'we can fix it' package and possibly two individual referrals as well. Towards the end of the meeting a text came through from Mr V and just the sound of his tune, John Legend She don't have to know ...just makes me blush..he was pleased with the videos and like me wanted to know what different ones we could do? :-)
Drove home and popped into Sainsbury's for milk and stuff and left my cash card in the machine!! Luckily some nice man ran after me with it so that was good. What an angel!
Watched Poldark with Phil, drank wine and felt sloshed and went to bed really. Not the most exciting of days but okay nonetheless.
Today we have workman putting new fencing up and I'm at home this morning at Harlow YOT this afternoon and lunch with Jayne and Linda...although I have loads to do it will be nice not to be quite so busy today.
The sun is shining and its lovely and warm for this time of year, I have good family, lovely sons, a brilliant job, an exciting lover, good friends and my health...all good and in no particular order of preference...could just do with a bit more money but mustn't be greedy.
