Dad minor srokes

Got a phone call from Lisa last night saying Dad had suffered a minor stroke and was in hospital. It was not life threatening but that they were doing tests. She went on to say how ill he had been over the weekend with his breathing really bad and barely able to get out of the chair when she went to see him...and he always perks up when Lisa and Chris go over.

I phoned Mum who is actually doing very well like she does in an actual crisis. Its the thought of impending crisis that she cannot cope with but when the thing actually happens she is fine..shame she cannot be like this more often.

It is a worry and very sad. I don't want to think about how this might all possibly end.

Apparently John has also had a minor heart attack and might now be suffering from angina, there is a horrible feeling of satisfaction that he is not going without the same suffering that my Dad is which is mean and nasty.

Just completed two days of a brilliant course on Systemic Family Therapy. I am really enjoying it and learning loads. I can feel it stretching my mind, teaching me new skills and tools and really exciting me. I have not felt this way for years with regards to learning. I must try something new after this.

Had a couple of texts from Mr v but only in response to my texts and to be honest I'm feeling a little bored with this relationship at the moment. Its never going to progress to anything and well....

Robo invited me to his birthday lunch which I had to turn down because of a conference I was going to go to but I cancelled that and asked if lunch was still on only to find that he had arranged to play golf with his son but please do not forget him...lol

Richard's arranged for guttering and chimney to be done today which was a shame cos I was hoping to invite Mr V round but instead shall clear off to Braintree and catch up with office stuff

Oh and I got an email today from a waiter who we had emailed with a picture last year...see below...it made me chuckle can't wait to show Jayne lol
