We had a new chest of drawers delivered on Monday night and Richard spent probably ages sorting out stuff and making room for it..so my contribution was to change the beds and complete the tidying up. As I was taking his sheets off his bed I noticed some carrier bags filled with old newspapers stuffed at the head of his bed. I was just going to throw them away when I noticed inside the newspapers dated last September was some emails from.... (dangerous music) Wendy Sherrington!!!
It seems that their relationship started around that time and all the emails are full of information swapping about children, holidays and hobbies etc. She wants to know everything from what I am like to what he hopes and dreams for in the future. Richard says he would like to settle down with someone else in the future which is sweet, nice to know I have not put him off women for ever then!
I spent a furtive few minutes trying to read as much as I could but being very aware that as it was already gone 5 he could walk in the door at any minute. So I had to contain myself and put them back exactly where I found them so I could read them again properly in the morning.
I did a quick check on google and found that apparently she works for a company called Alec Finch which is some kind of investment company. She looks quite pretty and her emails are very chatty and flirty. Richards by contrast are all full of stuff like what he had for breakfast and how I won't let him decorate after 6 in the evening which is true as he spends so long getting stuff ready we are all waiting to go to bed just as he is getting into the decorating, anyway I don't have to explain myself to her!!
I've been back this morning and read them again but there is not enough of them and I can't find any more which is dissapointing. It seems they were trying to arrange to meet up and I 've been trying to think if he has gone away for weekends recently. She lives near Horwich which is up north. Anyway he still keeps texting and stuff so I guess its still pretty strong...just wondered if they have met and done the deed. I hope so. I hope this just isn't cyber texting or stupid stuff like that. Intriguing eh? Explains alot though. how he is beign quite generous and is generally in a good mood lately. Anyway watch this space and we'll see what happens next.
Mum, Karen, Jade and Phil and I all went to Chris's for a lovely Thai meal last night. He really is a good cook and we had loads of lovely food followed by pancakes with strawberries, ice cream and syrup and nuts, it was scrummy. Also lots of alcohol. Chris is very generous and I felt mean eating and drinking all his food and drink. I think Mum enjoyed it although she was ready to go about 10ish but managed to stay till 11. Phil and I stayed till 1 in the morning!!
Got horrible cold today and feel all yukky so glad am working at home.

Nothing from the old bastard...he has truly relagated me to 2nd division although to be honest with this cold I wouldn't be doing anything anyway not that he knows that grrrrrrr
