Mr V is off to Peterborough.

Did the Uttlesford Multi agency meeting yesterday which to start with was a bit nerve wracking. It was not my presentation and I didn't feel I really had a handle on it. Greg started it off talking about the three projects and then basically I winged it and spoke about the process and the dynamics and how passionate we were about it and come and see us after. I think I sort of whizzed through it really.

It was quite funny because it was held in a superdooper big hall with a super size screen. So our little powerpoint presentation was displayed on a cinema size screen. We stood at the front at a lecturn in the dark speaking into two mic's only problem was they were set for a taller person so I tried to adjust mine and in doing so broke the clasp holding the mic. There were nuts and bolts and springs pinging all over the place and I completely broke the thing...and it looked brand new!!

Still it made people remember me and in the market place after lots of people came to our table to chat and find out more info. I think I sold the school/class intervention quite successfully, probably too successfully to be honest as I really don't know whether we can meet the demand at the moment.

Got home quite happy with days work and just pottered about, had a sandwich watched tv and went to bed really, quite tired.
Woke in the night and took ages to get back to sleep and woke today feeling a bit down. So have cheered myself up by looking up flights to Sicily next May. I might go and get a tourist book to find out good places to go to as the flights at the moment are really quite cheap.

Have text Mr V saying I'm at home but no answer and funnily enough I was feeling we are getting a bit stagnant and boring and was tempted to say lets just end it all now...anyway I had sent a text to Robo who asked me to phone as he was at home so I did and we had quite a long chat at my expense I hasten to add but don't worry it goes in the tally book for later. Anyway during our chat he tells me that Mr V is being sent off to Peterborough against his will. He will not commute and so will live there 5 days a week, only coming home at weekends!! Now there is interesting for you. Wonder how long he has known? I wonder if thats why he has been distracted recently and I put it down to him getting back involved with old barage balloon again..he is a bugger and I do wish he would tell me stuff. Wonder as well whether this will signify the end for us or will it be like his holiday when he was lonely and texting fairly frequently. It will also mean that the old bugger can meet others in Peterborough and get up to all sorts without her finding out grrrr!!

Poor old Robo has had his switched card number pinched and people have been spending his money in Oxford, Didcot etc spent over 600 pounds plus he has had problems with eldest son and cars so he is not a particularly happy bunny. Was good talking to him though, he can talk the hind legs off a donkey and bless him he did ask about my Mum and Dad...ahhh he is sweet.

Have not done anywork today apart from chat to Greg and Christine so must get on but first will pop out to get tourist book on Sicily...holidays are the life blood for me and only a few days till we fly off to Venice.
